What Professional Coaches Will Do With You
There’s another, more specific way of looking at what professional coaches do
• To set better personal or business goals – goals that most accurately and insightfully reflect your true values, not what you may initially think you should have as a goal
• To reach goals faster – as you’re coached through a consistent structure of support and innovative strategies and approaches
• To make significant changes – if we’re human, we’re all called upon to change daily; coaching brings change into consciousness, so that you can start to intend the changes that occur
• To become more financially successful – not financial advisors but knowledgeable about the concept of adding value, coaches can, once again, help to clarify goals and values – and even match income to spending
• To design – and live – the perfect life.
• To get ahead professionally through effective career advancement strategies, reputation-building methods, and business development skills, through a coach’s expertise and entire network of resources.
• To make better decisions. Who ever got schooling in making decisions? It’s one of the hardest things we do. Coaching can help.
• To have a collaborator. You may want a brainstorming partner, someone who understands the creative process and expands on your own energies – and who can help you reach a certain synergy. Coaches are focusing lenses.
• To improve personal and professional relationships and family life. Coaching can help you to get reconnected with those with whom you’ve become disconnected, because that’s really what it’s all about, isn’t it?
• To make a bigger, or more meaningful, impact in the world. We’ll help you identify your unique strengths and resources to make a difference.
• To simplify your life. How can you simultaneously simplify and enrich your life? Life coaching can really help.
• To strengthen your personal (and therefore professional) foundation. Your core is all the power and knowledge you need.
• To reduce stress and those things we tolerate too much.
• To increase revenue or income from your business or profession. Whether you seek to increase your personal income or your business revenue (or to start a business), coaches have the skills to collaborate and advise. (And at Feroce, we especially have experience in starting up businesses.)
• To become a better and more successful manager, executive, or businessperson. Contact us about professional coaching now.

Anger Reduction and Management
Why do I feel angry most of the time?
A reasonable amout of expressing anger is a good thing. It is our emotional and physical way of dealing. It is when the level, intensity, and length of anger becomes unreasonable, and the way it is expressed becomes unreasonable, that it is time to seek help. Unreasonable anger affects all areas of your life and the lives of those around you, crippling your place in the world.
What can I expect?
Many programs focus on anger management - that is, to manage your anger. If you are seeking help, most likely you need to make some level of anger reduction first, then manage the reasonable amount of what is left over!
How Does Anger Affect The Body?
Anger is a very primitive emotion and is basically a counterproductive experience in most situations. When angry, a person might be more effective in a physical fight or might be able to achieve some feat of physical strength, but situations where anger is helpful in modern day life are few and far between. Basically, anger is counter-productive. Anger, even mild anger, or irritability causes an aging of one's skin, a disruption of one's digestion, a rising of one's blood pressure and risk of heart attack and stroke.
So what can you do to get your life back?
By dealing with this problem now you begin to see positive changes happening around you as the weeks pass. Eliminating this problem may support you in the following areas:
• Career • Relationships • Friends & Family • Better Parenting • Feeling Happier & Healthier • Allowing you to focus on the things you want in life and not on what you don’t want.
It Can Work For You
Our sessions are designed to help reduce or pretty much eliminate anger by fostering a sense of hopeful resignation about life and about one's self and self worth. The techniques can help calm and relax in general and can help resolve issues and fears about the unknowns of the future. The sessions will also help resolve some of those larger, tougher issues that linger, taking space in one's mind. Hypnotherapy can interrupt cyclical thinking and negativity, providing a realistic, practical sense of empowerment, resignation to what cannot be changed, resilience and hope.
How does it work?
The successful methodology utilizes a combination of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Time Line Therapy. Your practitioner will guide you through a number of techniques to help you manage and eliminate those old feelings for good. Depending on your circumstances, a schedule will be set up. Average desired results are realized within 6 - 12 sessions.
What can I expect?
Depending on your individual circumstances/symptoms the practitioner will assess each person by offering the initial Consultation at no charge. This is to identify desired results, success outcomes, and next steps.

Confidence Self Esteem
Every person on this planet needs to find his self-esteem. The standard of mental health is the same as that of physical health, in that proper funchtion is a matter of survival and well-being. A mind is healthy to the extent that its method of functining is able to provide support and to sustain life.
 |
Self-esteem is a metaphysical estimate.
Self-esteem is the consequence, expression, and reward of a mind fully committed to reason. Reason, the faculty that identifies and integrates the material provided by the senses, is man's basic tool of survival.
When a man of self-esteem chooses his values and sets his goals, when he projects the purposes that will unify and guide his actions -- it is like a bridge thrown to the future, across which his life will pass, a bridge supported by the conviction that his mind is competent to think, to value, and that he is worthy of enjoying values. ~Ayn Rand |
Why is my confidence so low?
Self esteem comes from within and is a result of what you believe about yourself. As we grow up our mind acts as sponge and soaks up everything around us. This can be good and bad; sometimes we even make decisions about ourselves when we have no right or reason for doing so.
How can I become a confident person?
Think of your mind now like a computer. We run programs in our mind that produces our behavior. With our help you can re-program it to be more confident.
What can I expect?
We will discuss your past and remove your limiting beliefs about yourself. We will help you to change your thinking patterns and if appropriate use Hypnotherapy to boost your self-esteem. You will have a life-changing experience in identifying, defining, and clearly owning what you value most in life. The value assessment is vital to every individual because it defines our identity. We find most adults have never assessed the most important component of self-esteem and identity - that of value assessment and actualization. We will help you to set clear compiling goals that will inspire you to achieve more.

Promise Yourself
Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to everyone you meet
To make all your friends feel there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything and make what you see come true
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best
To be as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are of your own
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to greater achievements of the future
To wear a cheerful countenence at all times and give every creature you encounter a smile
To give so much to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others
To be too large for worry, too nobel for anger, too strong for fear; and too happy to permit the presence of trouble
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds
To live the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best in you

Depression: Lifting Quality of Life
|
People say that hat we are seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think this is what we're really seeking. I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive. ~Joseph Campbell, The Power of Myth |
Is Depression Affecting Your Quality of Life? Do you wake up in the morning and find it a struggle just to get dressed? Do those feelings of numbness prevent you from accessing those times of happiness you once experienced? Does one day blend into the next without you even noticing, or even caring? Does all seem lost forever? Sounds like you have a bout of Depression.
Depression is a serious illness; it is not something you have made up in your head so you should take the signs very seriously. It can slowly creep up on you and before you know it you are feeling low and hopeless for weeks on end. It can affect people for years if they don’t take action and do something to end it NOW! Depression is usually triggered by a traumatic event and can take a downward spiral.
|
Invictus William Ernest Henley. 1849–1903
OUT of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul

Experiential Life Crisis
 |
Named must your fear be before banish it you can. ~ YODA, from The Philosophy of Star Wars |
What is Experiential Life Crisis?
Experiential life crisis is an acute, time-limited phenomenon experienced as an overwhelming emotional reaction to a single event or an accumulation of events.
Examples:
| • Passing from school-age to adolescence |
• Financial Change |
| • Transitioning adolescent to adulthood |
• Pregnancy |
| • Leaving home |
• Abortion |
| • Getting married |
• Severe Illness |
| • Divorce |
• Presence of unresolved loses |
| • Having a baby |
• Excessive fatigue or pain |
| • Job Loss |
• Person's usual coping skills are not working for them in |
| • Beginning / changing a career |
finding some resolve |
|
• Death Of Loved One |
• A series of stressful life events |
In addition, an unplanned, accidental event that is not part of everyday life can cause a life crisis.
- Natural disaster
- National disaster
- Crime of violence
- Spousal or child abuse
- War-time service or service of loved one
One person may perceive a stressful event as disastrous while another may view the same event as a challenge. Crisis is not a pathological state, but instead is a struggle for equilibrium and an adjustment to problems that are perceived as insolvable. It can be self-limiting and can result in personality disorganization or blocks in personality growth.
What are the symptoms of experiential life crises?
Acute grief can be a normal reaction to distressing situations and getting help can eliminate devastating psychological consequences from sustained exposure and the effects can result in severe anxiety, depression and hopelessness.
In addition, the use of drugs, alcohol and certain medications can amplify the symptoms and prohibit the abilty to move through the crisis.
If the crisis is unresolved anxiety can continue to severe or panic level, serious personality disorganization occurs (confusion, immobilization, relationship problems, work-related issues, violence against others, and suicide attempts). When this occurs sometimes therapy is just not enough and the only way to find relief is to take some time out for true healing at the root cause of the problem. There is hope, even though it might not feel that way.

OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Disorders
Does Your Life Feel Impossible? Do You Want To Take Back Control? Have You Been Diagnosed with OCD or AADD?
OCD has two main features: obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are involuntary thoughts, images, or impulses.
Common obsessions can include, fears about being in public, germs, and contamination; fears of acting out violent or aggressive thoughts or impulses; unreasonable fears of harming others, especially loved ones; unwelcome sexual thoughts, behaviors, and addictions; inordinate concern with order, arrangement or symmetry; collecting / hording useless or worn out possessions; and fears that things are not safe, e.g. household appliances, airplanes, cars, etc.
The main features of obsessions are that they are automatic, frequent, upsetting, distressing, and difficult to control. Common compulsions can include excessive washing and cleaning; checking; repetitive actions such as touching, counting, arranging and ordering; hoarding; ritualistic behaviors that lessen the chances of provoking an obsession (e.g., putting all sharp objects out of sight); and acts which reduce obsession fears (e.g., wearing only certain colors).
Compulsions can be observable actions, for example washing, but they can also be mental rituals such as repeating words or phrases, counting, or saying a prayer. The main features of compulsions are they are repetitive and stereotyped actions that the person feels forced to perform. People can have compulsions without having obsession thoughts but, very often, these two occur together. Carrying out a compulsion reduces the person's anxiety and makes the urge to perform the compulsion again
Is OCD Treatable?
The cause of OCD is much debated but it is likely to result from a combination of factors and the causes for one person may be differing from one person to the next. OCD can run in families and, in some cases, may be associated with an underlying biochemical imbalance in the brain. Psychological factors such as susceptibility to stress or exposure to an emotionally traumatic experience are also likely to be the cause.
The good news is that, for the majority of OCD sufferers it can be controlled and treated.
What can I expect?
Everyone is unique and your circumstances will be unique to you. We will work with you so that you can discover just how you can create the change that you want, leading to a happier future. The aim of the program is to give you back control of your thoughts, actions and behavior and allow you to feel happier and more confident about getting on with your life.

Often times our family or friends might notice the difference in behaviors. In an article by Dr. Dorthy Neddermeyer in Home Health & Fitness,
War veterans are the most publicly-recognized victims of PTSD; long-term psychiatric illness was formally observed in World War I veterans. The syndrome entered wide public consciousness after the Vietnam War.
More recently other life-threatening natural and manmade disasters, major public health problems, physical and sexual abuse—incest and rape, violent trauma, domestic violence and accidents are included as criteria in a PTSD diagnosis.
The most effective approach to PTSD treatment is Holistic Healing using the unconscious mind—a.k.a. healing emotional issues at the core. Holistic healing addresses the all-important relationship to one's true spiritual nature. Transforming the psychological conditional patterns and unconscious beliefs that arise from our personal histories and adaptations effectively transforms our mind, body and spirit.
Hypnosis has emerged as a dynamic and vital therapeutic modality embracing many disciplines with traditional and non-traditional practitioners in the treatment of PTSD. Hypnosis is client-centered with its focus on the discovery of the origin of a client's issues. And through the process of hypnosis the unconscious mind goes to the original cause, which then gives the client and therapist the opportunity to process the original feelings surrounding the original experience or even thus the cause of the symptoms labeled PTST can be healed at the deepest level.
Thus, you transform how you feel, sense, and experience global political mass consciousness, as well as your individual consciousness, like never before. A Mind, Body, Spirit approach addresses the three critical aspects of one's being, therefore opening the door to true balance and emotional healing. [8]
Well-being comes from the understanding of the Self, the family, the local community in which we live, and the global community of which we are a part. We are each one heart of the Whole; each heart here to express its unique piece of the Whole. Knowing Self creates a sense of "I as a piece of this Whole," different and one at the same time.
There are numerous reports of military veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)-like symptoms for over 100 years. Veterans of the US Civil War who suffered emotional problems were diagnosed as being afflicted with "soldier's heart" or “Da Costa’s Syndrome” which shares many symptoms like PTSD. Shell shock was a term used to describe the condition of veterans of World War I who seemed emotionally disturbed in a similar fashion. In World War II, these symptoms were classified as "battle fatigue" or "combat fatigue". Other terms used to describe military-related mood disturbances include "nostalgia", "not yet diagnosed nervous", "irritable heart", "effort syndrome", "war neurosis", and "operational exhaustion".[3][4][5][6][7]
PTSD first appeared in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) in 1980. The criteria for PTSD has in part, socio-economic and political implications (Mezey & Robbins 2001). War veterans are the most publicly-recognized victims of PTSD; long-term psychiatric illness was formally observed in World War I veterans. The syndrome entered wide public consciousness after the Vietnam War. [8]
More recently other life-threatening natural and manmade disasters, major public health problems, physical and sexual abuse—incest and rape, violent trauma, domestic violence and accidents are included as criteria in a PTSD diagnosis.

Relationship Coaching
Relationship Coaching for Home, Work, and Dating
What is a relationship coach?
Put simply, an experienced individual who offers both general relationship advice and coaches clients on specific relationship issues. In deeper terms, a coach is a counselor and sounding board who helps you with any questions you may have on dating, relationships at work or with friends, and the many tests that face a man and a woman who are already romantically involved.
Coaches offer much needed counsel and advice in this often grey area of human relations. More importantly, they have the objectivity to see your situation in new ways, ways even your necessarily biased friends and family can't, and to show you different ways out of the places where you're stuck. Each one of us, whether man or woman, would like the experience of being in a healthy relationship.
Being romantically involved with a significant other that inspires us to be the best we can be fills us with positive feelings of love, and brings us large measures of joy each day. Often however, our relationships fail because we fail, that is, we fail the test of the daily living of our love. We end up ignoring the fundamentals of building healthy relationships by circumventing core relationship issues when we relate with our significant others. We've all heard time and again that it's the little things that count. Counseling with a competent relationship coach can be useful, for, often, a professional's advice can boost the health of a relationship by reminding one of the fundamentals that we often lose sight of when dealing with the daily nitty-gritty of being with another man or woman.
We all have questions that arise out of the relationship issues in our personal lives. When we run these by a professional relationship counselor, his take on the matter, out of the benefit of experience, may open our minds to newer ways of thinking, and our hearts to deeper understanding.
Can this advice help those who are just dating and not involved in a deeply romantic way?
Yes, indeed. For all of us have questions regarding issues that crop up once we commit to an involvement with another man or woman, whether deeply (think lifetime commitment) or fleetingly (mere dating). The coach can offer pertinent relationship advice that can aid a romantic relationship, often asking questions that cause the client to think in new directions, with the net result often being an increased sense of satisfaction in the relationship, taking it to greater, healthier heights.
Is relationship coaching for me?
That, as always, is a personal choice. One way of looking at it would be to take an overall health-check of your current relationship. Are there areas you feel would benefit from the advice of an experienced coach? Would you like to relate better with the man or the woman you're with? Do you have questions on how to make your relationship better? An objective analysis of the one you're in may result in an honest yes to any one of the preceding questions, and start you on the path to a healthy, positive and fulfilling relationship.
Try a relationship coach and see how much happier and self-assured you can be. info@trideka.us

Stress: Reducing / Eliminating
|
I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened. ~ Samuel Clemments (Mark Twain)
|
Is Stress Draining You Mentally & Physically? Does Your Life Feel Impossible?
Why am I stressed?
The pressures of work and everyday life can be really demanding. Sometimes we don't even know that we are stressed even when we are. It is important to understand that stress can lead to health problems in the long and short term. Everybody gets stressed from time to time; however, it is how we handle this internally that makes the difference.
So how can I reduce my stress level?
Everything starts with awareness. The sooner you begin to see that you create what happens in your life the sooner you are able to take responsibility and change it.
What can I expect?
Everyone is different and your circumstances will be unique to you. The first thing we need to establish is what is in your life that is stressing you right now. Then we will work with you so that you can discover just how you can create the change that you want and create a happier future.
The aim of the program is to not just manage your stress but to allow you to feel freer, happier, and more confident about facing the everyday pressures of life.
How do I make an appointment?

Substance Use Disorders
|
Perfection is not when there is no more to add, but no more to take away. ~ Antoine De Saint-Exupery, Author of The Little Prince
|
Substance and alcohol use is present throughout societies at all levels. Sometimes its presence masks as a societal norm, when in fact we attract and gather in groups that support our habits, making it appear to be the norm. It is when the quantity, frequency, or duration of use causes problems in functioning, relating, and managing/enjoying life, substance abuse is likely taking place. At first, it is common to stregthen our circle of influence and add people with like addicitons and behaviors to continue to convince ourselves that it really is the norm.
Addiction occurs when brain chemistry is altered by substance use such that drinking or using can, at times, appear to take on greater importance and meaning than caring for oneself or others. Individuals may use and subsequently become addicted to: nicotine, caffeine, marijuana, alcohol, stimulants (cocaine, methamphetamine), narcotics (opium, morphine, heroin), and a variety of mood-altering prescription medications for mood control, pain, or weight control.
Addiction can occur even when medications are taken as prescribed – it is the chemical changes in the brain that cause addiction, not one’s values, morals, willpower, or reasons for using. Alcohol and substance addiction is a brain disease that most commonly manifests with one or more of the following patterns of experience:
- A need for increasing amounts of the substance to achieve the desired mood-altering effects
- Continued use in the presence of losses and adverse consequences
- The presence of withdrawal symptoms (physical or psychological) when running out of, or deprived of, the substance
- Engagement in behaviors deemed necessary to continue drinking or using that the individual would not have previously found acceptable or would condemn in others (hiding, lying, stealing, fraud, etc.)
- A diminishing of the addiction. For example, an addict will often admit to a lesser drug to downplay the level of abuse. He or she may say, "I know I drink too much, but I don't do coke anymore." Or, "I know I drink way too much, but I only do coke once in a while." Or, "I did coke a couple of times, but I don't do crack." I do GHB sometimes, but it isn't bad for you and I don't do Oxycontin."And on... and on....
- A significant shift in personal priorities and activities away from once pleasurable or manageable sober activities toward a drinking and using lifestyle
- Hiding addiction behaviors behind labels such as AADD (Adult Attention Deficit Disorder), Hyperglycemia, Dyslexia, Nervous Tension, etc.
- A sense of victimization, that the world is out to get me, it's not my fault, it's because ___________, it's because ___________, it's because __________, and on and on.
- Continuous failed relationships
- And, one of my favorite tell-tell false-beliefs, "I can quit anytime. I've quit before, I know what to do, I just don't want to quit right now." And, when someone trys to help I hear, "Don't judge me. Leave me alone."
When should I seek help?
Anytime is appropriate to seek help. From early warning signs to advanced destructive behaviors. If you have friends and family show and express concern, prove them wrong and seek coaching. Those that love you would not express concerns if they didn't notice something out of balance, you can only benefit.
Most Individuals, however seek help for substance use disorders as they become aware of the disturbing, disruptive, destructive, or life-threatening consequences associated with drinking or using drugs. Among these are:
- Health complications and illnesses
- Legal difficulties associated with substance abuse (DUI, drug possession, fraud)
- Mood problems related to substance abuse(hopelessness, depression, mania, psychosis)
- Interpersonal difficulties and relationship losses
- Spiritual disconnection and identity disturbances
- Increasing loss of self-esteem, freedom, employability, or clarity of thinking
- Encouragement to seek help for substance abuse from a professional or family member
Since addiction is a brain disease with life-threatening physical and psychological effects, alcohol and drug rehab treatment must include biological, psychological, social, interpersonal, and spiritual components. Seeking help for substance abuse or addiction is a very personal decision, often occurring at a moment of psychic, physical, and emotional/spiritual crisis. Those who seek assistance, our clients and their family members, quickly discover they are not alone and do not have to stay trapped in the spiral of loss and disconnection.
What can I expect? What is different about NLP, Time-Line Therapy, and Hypnotherapy in changing Substance Use Disorders?
Addiction Program
Have you heard the saying, "The only difference between a rut and a grave is how deep you dig it?" There is a metaphor in NLP when we understand that we actually carve ruts called neurological pathways in the brain. These pathways become deeper as they become habits. At TriDeka we combine new methods of eliminating behaviors and beliefs that do not serve us. It stands to reason that if we carve out neurological pathways that hinder us, we can redirect and carve out new pathways that serve us. The science of Neuro Linguistic Programming is a process, methodology, and systematic approach to do just that. Rather than remaining addicted and battling for life, you will create new, positive, and serving habits and behaviors. Here is an example of one of the facits of our program:
The Story We Tell Ourselves
Our lives are situated in our “stories.” A life is created through the enactment of our stories – stories we tell ourselves , stories we tell others , stories that are told about us , and the cultural stories that surround us. Creating a story about ourselves results in our living out that story .We strive to become who we describe ourselves to be. We perform the roles created by our stories. We make choices and undergo experiences that are defined by the “story.”
Telling a new or slightly different story may require a shift or change in perspective, which then creates new experiences. Our choices and perception of our own responsibility may then change to fit this new perspective .These transformations take place through the ongoing interaction and interpretation between story and experience. New knowledge may be acquired as experience transpires and a new "story" evolves.
TriDeka Treatment Programs seek to illuminate, in a compassionate manner, the choices, the experiences and the responsibility inherent to the creation and fulfillment of a new and different personal life story and to identify the impact of that life story as it intersects with others and their unfolding life stories .This is the process by which individuals create culture and become critically conscious human beings capable of having meaningful interactions with others.
Most of us hold our stories to be quite sacred, in that they are highly personal and we take ownership of them. We have made them, after all our identity. However, they are not necessarily spiritual. The spiritual dimensions of the story take hold when we connect to a larger audience.
This is an invitation to be an active participant in your own life and discover your relationship to the mystery of living. “Stories” are more about meanings than facts. If you can make sense of your story, you can change it. No one can tell another person how to change their story - that is a personal and spiritual process. Truth is an independent decision.
Addiction is a multi-faceted problem; there are medical, psychological, emotional, spiritual and lifestyle components. Often treating addicts who are addicted to drugs such as heroin, crack, meth and cocaine we find that women are just as affected by addiction as men. It appears as though an addict when choosing rehab looks for an addiction rehab center who's staff is familiar not only with street drugs such as "ice", crystal meth, and LSD in general; but who have experience with the specific nature of the crack addict, meth addict, cocaine addict, heroine addict and the like. There is no easy solution to the myriad of problems that addiction creates. However, there is an easy way to begin to unravel the web of confusion that surrounds addictive behavior; that is to go to the source - and the source is you. There is no getting around the fact that you make choices to support your addictive lifestyle and there is no arguing that you are responsible for the path of your own life. TriDeka Coaching Programs provides the opportunity and support that will allow you, if you so choose, to create your new "story," "making up your mind," and carve a neurological pathway to your new life. info@trideka.us
